One of our lovely receptionists Jaime and a good friend of hers are hoping to make a difference this Holiday season. Both girls are from Ontario and are unable to make it home for Christmas this year. So, instead of exchanging gifts, the girls decided to raise money to buy supplies for the homeless.

The girls will be spending their Christmas Day handing out care packages to the homeless in Vancouver. Their aim is to visit the areas that may be overlooked by some of the organizations that help those in need. They will be armed with  warm clothes such as socks, toques, scarves; as well as food, gift cards, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Not only will they be handing out these packages the girls hope to help make the homeless feel less alone by spending time chatting with them and providing some company.

The girls have been raising money through gofundme.com. Already they have raised over $600!

If you are interested in learning more about the project or contributing in any way visit their site to make a donation. The girls are also accepting donations in the form of clothing and food.
